BIO
Rob Grad blends acoustic rock with touches of folk, pop, and urban influence—delivering emotionally charged performances that balance grit and soul. Known for his unique take on cover songs, audiences often tell him they prefer his stripped-down, heartfelt versions over the originals.
He first broke onto the scene with Kik Tracee, signed to RCA Records based purely on the strength of their live show. Later, his alt-rock band Superfine earned college radio buzz and landed a track on the Buffy the Vampire Slayersoundtrack, which sold over 400,000 copies. Rob has also appeared on MTV and other TV programs, with music featured on FOX, ABC, and the Discovery Channel.
After a decade-long pivot into a successful visual art career, he returned to music performing at private events, as well as with There’s Nothing Here Except Everything, his one-man multimedia show blending original songs, poetry, and visuals—debuting at a Getty event in 2024.
With a TEDx talk under his belt and a background in creative education, Rob also offers speaking engagements on using the artistic mindset for problem-solving in a variety of circumstances, and resilience.
