Run With Grace
I chose the title Run with Grace for this series as an aspirational way of being. I tend to be impatient. As much as I want my life to feel like a calm, orderly walk into the sunset, at times it feels more like a frenetic race to get everything done before the clock runs out.
These works are reflective, but vibrant, like a lucid dream, mining the past for clues of how to steer an unknown future. Each features a flurry of bright colors. with no straight lines or hard edges because memories are amorphous. One runs into the next.
I tend to like things cut and dry, but they rarely are.
